Business Plan Competition Win $30,000 To Start Your Own Business! |

The Gilmore Foundation, City of Amory, Amory Main Street and the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce announce the AmoryVenture Business Plan Competition for Amory-based startup entrepreneurs with cash prizes totaling over $60,000. AmoryVenture gives aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to bolster their business acumen. Entrants gain practical insights about starting and growing a business.
Who Can Enter?
If you are at least 18 years of age or older, a legal resident or US citizen, and wish to start a business in Amory, Mississippi, you are eligible. Click here for Rules & Eligibility
How Can I Enter the Competition?
Your first step is to attend one (1) orientation session at Gilmore Foundation Conference Center located at 203 Gilmore Drive, Amory, Mississippi. The orientation will give you the full details about entering the competition. Additionally, you must attend three out of four training sessions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of your application.
When Are The Next Orientation Sessions?
Online registration for orientation sessions begins immediately.
Where Do Orientation Sessions and Training Take Place? Orientation sessions will be held at the Gilmore Foundation Conference Center, 203 Gilmore Drive, Amory, Mississippi. Attending an orientation is the first requirement. Subsequently, entrants must attend three out of four training sessions, also held at Gilmore Foundation Conference Center.
When Are Entry Forms Due? Entry forms must be submitted on-line by midnight, May 15, 2011. Business Plans must be uploaded no later than midnight September 1, 2011.
What Are The Prizes? Judges will select the top two best startup business plans with each winner receiving $30,000.00 $15,000 will be awarded at time of startup $5,000 will be awarded at 6 months in business $10,000 will be awarded at 1 year anniversary in business
